res = set(map(int, a[0]['list1'][0].split(','))) & \
set(map(int, a[1]['list2'][0].split(',')))
{35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52}

operator is syntactic sugar for set.intersection
